Summary: "Major Asset on Recent Trip To Seattle"
This Frommers book was my top choice after reviewing other travel books. It was spot on. I carried it with me in Seattle and tabbed the pages for fast reference.
The maps and helpful hints enabled me to save time and see and do more. I would look at it over a coffee and map out my next couple hours and then use it again at the next coffee break. There are plenty of coffee shops in Seattle and the book made finding the best ones easy. Also, it helped me to locate super great inn. It also helped me to learn the public transportation system and thanks to the book, I got an advance ORCA pass for senior rates as the book led me to investigate the on line King County Metro system.
Was very helpful for locating ferries too. Kept it for my next trip.

Summary: "Great Book About Seattle"
FROMMER'S SEATTLE 2010 is a great book about Seattle and its environs, covering such activities as sightseeing, dining, nightlife, shopping, and outdoor recreation. The only problems are the lack of much discussion of local music stores and the fact that only three of the area's shopping malls are discussed. These are minor issues, though, as this is a great book for anyone wanting to explore Seattle and the surrounding area.
